Hi there,

I'm searching for the chords (or voicings) played in introduction (before the diminished arpeggio and the real start of the tune) of the Django Minor Blues of 1940.
Thanks if anyone can help on this one.

Not sure if I'm thinking of the right one, but there's one version that starts with an Am to Gm to C7 motion voiced something like this:

    --/8---6-----------------------------------------
    --/7---5-----5---5--5-------------------------------
    --/9---7-----3---3--3-------------------------------
    --/7---5-----5---5--5-------------------------------
    --------------3---3--3------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------

then it repeats, descending at the end to lead to the diminshed run:

    --/8---6-----------------------------------------
    --/7---5-----5---5--5---4----3------------------------
    --/9---7-----3---3--3---2----1------------------------
    --/7---5-----5---5--5---4----3------------------------
    --------------3---3--3---2----1------------------------
    ----------------------------------------------

    hope that helps.

    best,
    Jack.
