So here is a cool lick I like... Starts at 1:03 of the tune. It's played over a C7-F-F minor progression. Enjoy!

------8--12--11--10-------------------8-6------------------6-5------
-10--------------------11-------------------8-5-------------------6---
----------------------------12--9-8-7-------------7-6-5--------------5--
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------4--8--11--7--10-8-----------------------------
-----------------6----------------------------10--10--------------------------
-----------5--------------------------------------------------------------
------6-------------------------------------------------------------------
--8-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi chip, to be more true to django's fingerings, it'd be a better idea to move that G note (12 th fret G string) up to 8th fret B string, and that low F (8th fret A string) up to 3rd fret D string...

that would be a more "djangoesque" fingering

and that high Eb... i'm not sure if it was intentional, it sounds like he intended to play a high E (12th fret) but it still works and sounds cool

upon listening to the clip here is the actual line:
-----8-12-11-10---------------8/7-6------------------------
    -10---------------11-8----------------8-5--------------
    -------------------------9-8-7--------------7-6-5-----
    ------------------------------------------------
    ------------------------------------------------
    ------------------------------------------------

    6-5-----------------4-8-11---7-10-8--------------------------
    -----6------------6--------------------10-10-----------
    -------5--------5----------------------------------
    --------------6-----------------------------------
    -------------------------------------------------
    -------------------------------------------------
the phrase starts on the AND of 2 on the bar before the C7

YES, this fingering makes it flow much more easily. Thanks a lot Dennis.

Ok folks here is the lick with Dennis' fingering changes. I hope you will find it useful. This is the first time I've tried Powertab on the forum so let me know if I can improve anything...

Hope everybody has a good weekend!
