Argentines with a Krivo Humbucker works mighty fine but you're talking "traditional" mounted PAF type Humbucker with screws on each side. Besides all that, love your ideas.
yeah we will see if I can adjust the poles enough to compensate. I'm not sure. I prefer the aesthetics of traditional looking pickups...might need to antique this one a tiny bit to get it to look a little less shiny. Just an experiment but it's been floating around (no pun intended) in my head for a couple years....
First off Paul, so very cool and innovative...that said, can't lie - first thought I had was was running it through both of my modded TS9s into a Deluxe Reverb lol
Could do but this is easy because I have the shape of the soundhole in my CAD program so I can 3d print the insert so that it fits perfectly. Everything else I'd have to custom fit. And I'm lazzzzzeeeee.

V3 will have to have a space for those archtop kinda volume controls....
Haha that's awesome, put an EMG 81 in there :D
um no, super distortion!
That could be a product for D hole guitars. Something tha could drop in the existing soundhole?

nothing is stopping you man. Fill the body with a shipping blanket and two handed tap, pinch harmonics, etc, etc.

Wouldn't stop someone else from doing it though. I've stolen most of my ideas so can't stop someone else from making it.
Also not sure that it won't sound like shit yet...I haven't had a chance to wire it up yet.
