"Kickin' the Cat" Lang intro

I've spent a couple of hours listening to this with all of today's modern technology, and as best as I can tell, this is what Eddie does for the intro of "Kickin' the Cat"... MP3 file is at the bottom of this post.
(Rhetorical question: why did Joe and Eddie use so many cats and dogs in their song titles?)
For your convenience, I've divided the intro up into little phrases... they are not always exactly a bar each, but after bit of time practising them hopefully you'll see with my logic in dividing them this way... or not!
