Schertler DYN-G P48 Guitar Pickup

Pros: Great Sound

Cons: Feedback

This is a great sounding pickup but I had feedback problems with it. I play mostly acoustic rock in pretty big performance spaces and I couldn't get this pickup loud enough. It does sound great though, and if you're playing strictly acoustic music like bluegrass or classical, it would be a really good choice. Michael suggested I try the Schertler AG6 instead and that is so much better for what I do as it can get way louder.

I use the DYN-G on my vintage Epiphone archtops and it's just perfect. It captures the natural sound of the instrument without having to modify the guitar in any way. I loved this unit so much much, I bought the DYN-B and DYN-V for the other members of my band. Our live sound problems are solved!

I've tried them all, piezos, mics, magnetic pickups, etc. The DYN-G P48 beats them all by a mile. It's so natural, easy to install, and very feedback resistant. Love it!!!

Pros: Great Natural Sound

The Dyn-G guitar pickup is easy to use and produces a great natural sound. I searched on the internet for the best price on this pickup and found Django Books to have the best price. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a natural sound for recording or performance. I also recommend this product for anyone who wants to use a pickup on multiple guitars and does not want to permanently mount a pickup in their guitar.
