The guitar sounds very good and the additional setup was well done and worth the price. However, the solid top cracked from end to end even though it was stored in a digitally controlled environment. Saga offered to stabilize the crack at my shipping expense, so I cannot endorse their warranty or customer service.

Great guitar for the price. I forked over extra for the "Set Up Special" and it's worth it - expertly done. The custom bridge cranks out some serious output. The frets keep their tuning all the way up the neck and not a hint of tailpiece buzz. I'm a fan of the 'classical' style thick squared neck coming from a Flamenco background. Not a fan of the staining off the rosewood fingerboard coming off on my fingers after the first day (with about 8 hours of playing) and also string resonance of stan...

This guitar plays great!! I graduated from Berklee College of Music in May and was tired of playing standards through my 335. Then I discovered Django and guys like Joscho Stephan. I was back in love with music, but this time it was gypsy swing. This guitar is great to get a feel for these difficult to come by acoustics. For the price, how can you go wrong! Eventually I'll probably get a higher end one, but I plan to gig with this for the next year or more. Enjoy!!

My son is loving his Cigano "Gypsy Jazz" guitar. We searched long and hard and this was is a great guitar that he could afford. He brings it everywhere...busking in a local small town and having a blast with his friends. Thank you for a great guitar at a great price! Little Django's coming!

Just got this and although I'm hardly an expert in the genre or seasoned with this type of guitars (or any acoustics for that matter), I have to say, for the price, it's one of the better made guitars I've ever played. Good craftsmanship (though the piece of plastic on the tailpiece looks like meh), and a beautiful finish, especially on the sides. As far as playability goes, it's also a beaut. This guitar just rings. It's loud. The action (stock) was nice and the neck is fairly fast. Stays...

it's a cannon. the relatively low quality is totally offset by the performance and Value per Dollar ratio. similar to having a 409 engine in a Hyundai. recall Joseph's guitar in the video "Le Hot Jazz"? you could treat your CG-15 like that one evidently was treated, and not feel bad, because it's so cheap!

Its short-scale, D-hole design gives it that characteristic deep bass response and incredible volume making it the perfect rhythm instrument. Good sound, poor quality

Pros: Good sound, plays well

Cons: Cracked, poor service

Not a fan of the staining off the rosewood fingerboard coming off on my fingers after the first day (with about 8 hours of playing) and also string resonance of standing strings can be a little distracting but again, for the price? A great guitar. ps. Michael was always super fast at getting back to me with emails. Top chap!

This guitar just rings. It's loud. The action (stock) was nice and the neck is fairly fast. Stays in tune. Obviously, if I'm this impressed with the Cigano, I'd probably die of joy if I ever get to play a high end one, but this is fast becoming my favorite in my collection.
