Every score I've seen is written out in E minor. When I learned it on the piano accordion I had heard it so often that I picked it apart from memory ... but had 'accidentally' transposed it to G minor! I still play it in this key as I find it easier on the keyboard. Maybe playing it in E minor is easier on the guitar.

    And you?

    Hi
I do my version in E minor--you really need those open strings to get the right feel--its not just about the notes
