I am sorry this is off the GJ topic, but does anyone have any good resources for meetups, performances, or teachers of Scottish Fiddle in Southern California?

I just happened on this post--sorry I'm late For Scottish Fiddle you might try Google search on Scottish FIRE, Scottish Fiddling Revival, which is the US national organization. I think they list competitions and possibly links to teachers. Some of the judges are teachers.
Also try Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddle Camp.

Hi,

Check out Kimberley Fraser; she plays Cape Breton style and does lessons online and via Skype. I've done some lessons via Skype and she is very competent.
