I'm slightly confused.... there seem to have been several versions of Micro, recorded by Django over '48, 48 and '50 (the last one being his electric version). However, one of the 1948 versions, from the concert in Brussels, seems to be completely different. The announcer announces it as 'Micro' but is it actually a different song altogether (he got it wrong?) ? Here it is:

The melody of Micro is quite close to Moppin the bride-Danse nuptiale. You can hear that one here.

That probably explains why there are often mistakes between these two tunes. The initial "mistake" was made on the first recording of Moppin the bride, it was subtitled Micro. Then Django created a different, but close, melody he called it Micro, even if it was different from the tune Moppin the Bride (Micro)

Ah, thanks that explains everything. The playing on Moppin the Bride is sublime!

There is also this versions titled "Swing Dynamique" which is really swingin. It also seems to be the source of the way moignard and friends play in the video above.
