Has anybody tried these pickups? It looks pretty interesting.

    It would be cool to find out how they sound. Bob Belmont is using one on gypsy jazz guitar, whoever that is. Not a lot of answers online, only questions and very few soundclips.

    it is a piezo pickups.
    As all the piezo has merits and defects typical of this type of sensor.

    It looks like a mic not a piezo to me.
    Whats with the little goose neck I see in the pictures.
    It looks like a high impedance capsule with a volume control.
    If it is ? I would not be too hopeful.
    I might email the maker, see whats what.

    They are in fact , Condenser Mic's
    The principal is Gregg Meyers.

    As long as its not a high impedance mic with a passive circuit it might be worth considering.
    Seems like he's taking a swiss army knife approach.

    Its an active circuit with a coin cell lithium battery.
    Might be worth checking out.

    I agree.
    Its a mic.
    All the usual characteristics apply.
    For the most part all "pickups" are slight variations in "delivery system" for the same technologies.
