Designed For 'National' Style Reso's - Pickup Attaches To The Saddle or The Top Of The Biscuit
The brand new NR-2 series of pickups is Schatten's way of providing a really good sounding pickup that can be mounted quickly and easily to National style instruments with only one 25mm (1/2") hole required for the endpin jack preamp. The included Artist II preamp can be powered by an onboard 9V battery (not included) or it can be externally powered using the Schatten RP-1 Remote Power Adapter and/or the Schatten CAB-1 Phantom Power Cable (sold separately).
The NR-2A active pickup system includes Schatten's innovative MVC Plus jack assembly, which simply adheres to the instrument and snuggles in right next to to the tailpiece. The MVC Plus jack includes an integrated volume control for quick onboard volume changes.
