John Pearse Nuages Strings (1 set): 2810LM (ball end light/medium ) - Gauge: 11-46
John Pearce Nuages Strings, .011
I’ve just ordered ten sets of these and haven’t yet used them, so I’m not qualified to comment on them. However, I recently was talking with the gypsy swing guitarist Adrian Levasseur, who was translating at Django in June for Raangy Debarre, son of Angelo Debarre. Adrian said I should try them because he considers them the best strings on the market. He specified the set with the 0.011 first strings. He says they are stiffer than the equivalent Argentines.

Excellent purchase!
I wanted to test Parse's Nuages strings (11 gauge set). Very positive experience, indeed! Comparable quality (sound and durability) with the Argentine I've been using for 30 years. Unfortunately not available with loop ends. Discount price has also been a very positive argument (shipping to Europe is expensive). P.S.: Thank you, Michael, for your excellent communication and turbo shipping!

Gypsy Strings
Pros: John Pearse
Cons: 11's are light. Can't imagine 10's.
I'm a sworn full time user of John Pearse Medium Acoustic strings for all my standard acoustic guitars, so I thought I'd give the Nuages a try.I got the 11's and found them to be very lightweight and thin sounding on the guitar. In doing some adjustments to the bridge, I broke a G string. First string break for me in years. I think I need to try some other brands so that I have a fair comparison to these. I still have one set in reserve in case the others are as thin and tinny sounding.
