Moustache Gypsy Jazz Pick (3mm)

The Moustache Gypsy Jazz Pick has the same dimensions as a standard guitar pick in terms of width and height. Tonally, it is very similar to Wegen picks. As pictured, the bevel does not extend very far down the sides of the picks, but this is not cause for concern- the bevels still cover all of the area of the pick that the strings make contact with, so it plays very nicely.

This pick has it all; a great feel, great tone, and durability. The Moustache pick just seems to glide across the strings with minimal effort from the pick hand. I am not sure what material is used in producing these pick but it provides an excellent tone while maintaining extreme durability. The pricing seemed to be on the high end however I have recently seen other brands which are far more costly so I have reconsidered my initial price assessment. Additionally, as stated in my other reviews; I just can't say enough about the service I have received from djangobooks.com! The "boutique" pick selection is second to none. Every single order was shipped out immediately and received in 2-3 days from Washington to Ohio. The orders were well packed and tracking info was also provided. A big thank you to Michael Horowitz!

In Spite of funny and cute looking,the soud is crisp and loud. I'm lovin' it.
