i've been using argentine 1510's fairly steady for several years, as it's just hard to beat the sound, and i've come to enjoy the loop ends. i had tried lenzer fisoma's before and liked them. i was impressed with their clear tone and longevity. i just re-strung my petite bouche with the LF 11-47 gauge. will stay with these indefinitely, and possibly flip back-and-forth with the argentines.

I was looking for a string gauge that worked for me. I was also searching for a string set that had a smooth tone and didn't add to the highs of my already "high end" guitar sound -that brittle tone. I think I've found it it the Lenzner Fisoma Silk and Steel Gypsy Jazz Strings. To me, they are a perfect cross between the regular type string (without the winding at the end) and the traditional Argentine strings. I would recommend them, especially at the price.

Super long life, clear, strong and great tone. Maybe a little bit metallic in a first few days.
Five stars - no less, IMHO.
