2008 Dell'Arte Hommage

The Dell'Arte Hommage has long been one of the best selling Gypsy jazz guitars of all time. Made in San Diego by John Kinnard, this model has proven itself in the hands of so many of the greats including Jimmy Rosenberg, Boulou Ferre, Angelo Debarre, Robin Nolan, etc.

The Hommage is a tribute to the large bodied guitars built by Jacques Favino in the 1960s-70s. The larger body and scale length improve the bass register response and volume of the guitar. This mint condition example has a wonderfully rounded tone with highs that cut but aren't harsh or irritating. Like most D holes, this guitar has a nice "openness" to it that adds color and complexity. Most importantly, this instrument has the volume and "bark" you'd expect of a Favino.

There is also a Deluxe Fiberglass case included ($235 value). An Hommage with this case would be over $3000 new, save a bundle on this used one in mint condition!
