Czech luthier Vit Cach has been gaining the attention of top Gypsy players, most notably Stochelo Rosenberg who has been playing a Cache from time to time. Vit's instruments are very traditional in design and sound. Modeled after the original Selmer specs, Vit's guitars include a heat bent pliage, a feature rarely found in this price range. As you'd expect, the tone is very Selmer-esque, with cutting highs, great projection, and those famous Selmer mids. You would have to pay far more for these characteristics from any of the more established luthiers puts this instrument clearly in the "Best Buy" category.
Modeled after the original Selmers, this guitar has a spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a walnut neck. Hardware includes an HSC tailpiece and a set of Schaller three on a plate tuners. A Schuster light flight case is also included.
This instrument is in excellent condition, with just some light pickwear on the top. Otherwise, it has no other signs of wear and plays nicely with 11 gauge strings and 3mm action.
If you're looking for a dead on, traditional sounding Selmer copy, there's no doubt this is it and it can be had at a price far below what you'd expect for this sort of quality!
This is the CASH price...add 3% if you'd like to pay with a credit card. 4% for International orders.
