Czech luthier Vit Cache has been gaining the attention of top Gypsy players, most notably Stochelo Rosenberg who has been playing a Cache from time to time. Vit's instruments are very traditional in design and sound. Modeled after the original Selmer specs, Vit's guitars include a heat bent pliage, a feature rarely found in this price range. As you'd expect, the tone is very Selmer-esque, with cutting highs, great projection, and those famous Selmer mids. You would have to pay far more for these characteristics from any of the more established luthiers which makes put this instrument clearly in the "Best Buy" category.
