Rudolph Blazer has long been among the most respected makers of replica Martin and Gibson flatop guitars. Rudi is known for his exacting standards of workmanship, premium quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail. Rudi directed his considerable skills towards building this Gypsy jazz style instrument which resulted in this lovely Selmer inspired design. It features a select alpine spruce top with some bear claw, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and a Spanish cedar neck. Hardware includes a Miller tailpiece and a set of Schaller deluxe tuners. As one would expect, the workmanship is meticulous and exacting throughout.
The sound of this instrument is very traditional, with a tone that is
very Selmer-esque in character. The high end is clear yet rounded,
resulting in a "singing" quality to lead lines. The prodigious midrange
adds body to single note lines and character and complexity to chordal

This instrument is in excellent condition with signs light use, including mild fret wear, some small dings and scratches, pickwear on the top, and some finish wear on the side bout were your arm rests. It plays exceedingly well, with very low 2.6mm action and very little buzz.
