This beautifully crafted instrument was built in the Sakura region
of Japan by Atsushi Takano. Not just another Selmer copy, this unique
design combines a slightly larger 16" body with a traditional 670mm scale length,
resulting in an instrument with a deep and penetrating voice. One of
the most noteworthy features is the traditional heat bent top, something
normally only found only on pricey flagship models (most Gypsy guitars
today employ the modern forced top method.) Like the original Selmers,
the heat bent top produces a fast, springy attack, which will easily respond to
even the lightest of pick strokes.
