My '92 Dupont d-hole has a neck that's the same width as a 14-fret, but I have never seen another one quite like it. I'm surprised that more makers haven't explored that idea.

Gitane D500 has a wider neck. 1-7/8" vs the 1-3/4" of the DG320. It's not quite as wide as a classical guitar (2"), but it isn't far off. That should be in your budget too

my budget is 1000 $ therefore I can forget about AJL guitars
I discovered that Gitane DG 320 has got 14 frets and neck width is 1 3/4
