Hello. I just got a Gitane 500 D hole and it has a typical problem- some fret buss. I've done a refret before which came out well on another guitar and I have the tools. I will get around to doing a redress on the Gitane but I don't know what to do about the bridge. I'd like to raise it a tiny bit. Any links or DVD's that show how to work on these guitars?

Jamie´s DVD is the only one that i know of on setting up selmer guitars, and can be a good help. For my self, i would like it to be a little more deeper, but it fits the bill.
Since you´ve got the tools, i presume you´ve done setups before, so go for it. If by any chance you have not, maybe take the guitar to a luthier.
Another user - Josh Hegg, IIRC - may be of help. I would search his posts on the subject too.
