You can't actually hear the guitar, just the bigtone!! Would have sounded the same if he was playing an Aria, if it had a Dupont bridge/bigtone in it...

i think before he was playing that one he was playing the Eimers maple Samois special that Stochelo used on the dvd.

i also think he (mozes) used this guitar on the ready n' able album. the tone of this guitar is so distinct. its awesome.

As you can see in the Stochelo DVD, that guitar has a disguised magnetic pickup at the end of the fretboard. In fact to my ears it doesn't sound at all like a piezo Bigtone ...

Ah, ok.. I thought it was sounding even more compressed than usual. Sure doesn't sound acoustic though, which is why i jumped to the bigtone conclusion.

that little black thing at the end of the fretboard is not a pickup, it's just blacktape, i forget what it was for...

What a great opening number! I love this video, you can really see some great shots of all of them working out. The shots of Nous'che playing rhythm are great for picking up some tips on rhythm.

    Thanks for the links.

So the guitar has an UFO on board! Again, maybe my ears are fucked up but the sound in the clip really seems more "magnetic" than piezo. Could it be a Bigtone with a crazy EQ? Perhaps... but it doesn't sound so to me. Uhmmm... that's X files stuff! :)

Yeah, after your first post i listened to it again, it doesn't sound like a Bigtone, but it doesn't really sound like a magnet either!!! One thing's for sure though, it doesn't sound like an Eimers acoustic guitar...
