I have a sentimental spot for Howard Roberts guitars esp the red finish.
I have had one since 1975. Previously i had an Aria HR which i sold to Dan Kinter, Alban Bailey has it now.
The HR in the photo is 1976 Gibson HR. Very Comfortable guitar to play.
Great for electric Gypsy jazz it is after all essentially a 175.
I esp like the photo which was taken on a gig by Michael Pugliese.
That is Ernie Pugliese's son a member of the GJ community!
Ernie and i have gone our seperate ways i am devoting all my time to promoting the CD and the trio. It is alot work as you might imagine!
