1970 Jacques Favino # 148

1970 JacquesFavino #148 MACIAS Model, oval hole, laminated curly maple back and sides, big as in the Selmer tradition, three piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard, metal buttons SB tuners. another example of this fast becoming less than "rare" instrument. at some point in it's life, the guitar was send to Jean Pierre Favino, who refretted it, repaired a top crack, and oversprayed the whole guitar, as well as adding his decal on the headstock. Later someone tried to take it off again, but failed. Now the headstock has been restored to a more authentic/original state. Furthermore, the original metal button sb tuners have been replaced (story goes by Moreno) by early sb tuners, that turn counterclockwise.
