I love the sound.... I have been using the Big Stubby from dunlop for years and always had a Wegen for variety. My ears have now gravitated to the rounder sound of the Wegen. Its also slides a little easier over the string... not sure if thats the bevel or material. I'm buying two more. The cost sucks a little but they are hand made so I get it.

Wow! This pick is just plain amazing. If you can't afford a grypsy-style guitar, try one of these out. It'll add a good amount of warmth and volume to your acoustic flattop. I'd say you get about %25 of the way toward the gypsy tone. It's definitely worth it. The thickness is unfamiliar, but not hard to get used to. In fact, it's very comfortable. Give it a shot!

best pick I have ever used in my six years of playing guitar it didn't stick to the strings like other picks will, fits your fingers perfectly, and won't melt under high temp when you are shredding. Great for any style of acoustic guitar also works well on electric. This pick made me a better guitar player. The only bad thing is all the other picks you'll have to through out cuz you'll never use any other again. Get one!!

I've been accustomed to working with the Wegen 3.5. Based on a recent jam, I got to try out the Fatone and recently purchased one for my own use. I love this pick - the tone is rich and the smoothness over rhythm playing is palpable; it's now my go-to pick for rhythm, and I do like the attack on lead playing as well - different than the 3.5, but feels really nice.

Amazing tone for rhythm playing. The Fatone is awesome, before it I had been playing mainly the gp250 which is another solid pick, but I can't put this one down down, the GP250 just feels small. Nice click on the strings, great control. It took a little bit of getting used to for single line runs, but I'm getting the hang of the behemoth. All in all, if you play mainly rhythm I would suggest it.

Wegen Fatone Pick

Wegen Fatone Pick
The larger dimensions of the fatone pick make it a popular choice for Gypsy jazz rhythm players or lead players looking for a mellower, more rounded tone. It slides easily over the strings and brings out more midrange body. The fatone is a great choice if you have an overly bright guitar or very aggressive picking style.

Instant Gypsy Sound

Pros: Instant Gypsy Sound, Comfortable, Unbreakable

Cons: Maybe too thick for some
