This pick ist great, i like it very mucht. It's my favorite pick right now (I also play a Wegen, a BlueChip and a Dugain). The material is so nice to touch, smooth and round, the size and thickness is perfect for me, the bevels are wonderful and allow for extremly fast playing. The tone ist very nice, mid-based, round. Don't know if it wears fast by now.

I really love this pick. I own at least one model from just about every single boutique guitar pick brand you can think of. I love the Guzz S3 for a few reasons. First off, it's different than what's pictured...in a good way. It isn't made of a shiny, slick plastic like it seems. It's made of a matte finished material that produces a fantastic tone. I also love the bevel. It's speedy and sounds just great. I use it more than most of the picks I own. Definitely worth trying out.

Hands down the best pick i've used. Makes a huge difference in tone, especially above the 12th fret where things tend to thin out. Notes are louder and rounder, almost dramatically so. They also are very comfortable to play. And almost no pick clatter. I spent a day going between this pick and a Wegen Gypsy and a Clayton horn pick that I had refashioned. Though I love the other two, the Wegen just makes too much noise and the horn pick loses everything above the 12th fret. Really do yourself a ...

A good pick. Nicer sound, less "clicky" than the wegens. Wears out pretty quick, and once it wears up to the little dot you see in the picture, which is an inlay of different material, you're screwed because that starts to catch on the strings. Hope they fix that issue..

I've finally found my plectrum of choice! After a couple of years experimenting with rosewood then ebony then buffalo horn plectrums, all of which wore down quickly and were a little too thin, I spent a couple of happy years with a 3.5mm gypsy jazz pick that had great grip and a fat tone, but which had a lot of "click". This Guzz plectrum sounds just as fat, used on the rounded sides and I find that there's a huge difference in tone depending on which side is used; bright or mellow. It's easy t...

I've now used this pick on several gigs and it is quite versatile. I can easily switch between rhythm and soloing textures without the need of multiple picks. I personally enjoy thicker picks which is why this pick is a perfect fit for me. I did, however, find it hard to hear the differences between the three edges. All in all, it's a pick worth the money and one I'll be holding onto for a long while.

Guzz S3 Guitar Pick

Guzz S3 Guitar Pick
This pick is 3.5mm thick and has four different playing surfaces for tones ranging from bright to dark, rhythm to lead.

We are delighted to be able to introduce you to our new guitar pick, the s3.

The s3 is the first pick in the world with which you can play with any of the 3 sides, producing a different sound from each.

We have been working in England during 14 months on the engineering, 3D analysis, hundreds of tests and HQ sound spectrograms to develop the s3 pick...but the musicians always have the last word not us. The machines are only that...machines.

All our staff are musicians and our products are tested as well by important musicians (who do not work for GUZZ, to maintain an objective and independent point of view).

So with the s3 you can play with 3 sides of the pick, two sides are for playing rhythm, and one side is for playing solo.

The s3 guitar pick has been created trying to achieve two things:

1.- The best sound  from acoustic and electric guitars.
2.- Versatility if you need it.

We are so proud of the s3 guitar pick results and now we hope you like our work. It has been made with love, patience and thinking only about how to produce the best guitar sound with just a pick...just a pick?  Not the s3, we promise.

The s3 works as Acoustic guitar pick, Jazz Pick, Gypsy Jazz Pick, Folk Pick,
Bluegrass pick, and Electric Guitar Pick.

good pick

Pros: comfortable pic, great sound

Cons: not durable, big design oversight with the dot markers

Guzz S3 pick

This Guzz plectrum sounds just as fat, used on the rounded sides and I find that there's a huge difference in tone depending on which side is used; bright or mellow. It's easy to hold, feels great and gives a nice round attack to the notes, especially on the treble strings. Plus, it's half the price of my old plectrum. Maybe I'll find one that I prefer sometime in the future but I've stopped looking because I'm so happy with the S3. It's helping to make me to sound the way I want to.

Pros: Extremely versatile. Great quality

Cons: Hard to hear the difference between the edges

I've now used this pick on several gigs and it is quite versatile. I can easily switch between rhythm and soloing textures without the need of multiple picks. I personally enjoy thicker picks which is why this pick is a perfect fit for me. I did, however, find it hard to hear the differences between the three edges. All in all, it's a pick worth the money and one I'll be holding onto for a long while.
