Dugain Agate pick

I have purchased a Dugain Agate (pick) from DjangoBooks.com. This is not the first Dugain pick I have purchased. I use them regularly. I had started out a most players do with a typical 351 style medium guitar pick and as time progressed, kept trying and going to thicker picks. The Dugain pick is of the highest quality I have seen in any guitar pick. The contours on the top and bottom of the pick make it easy and natural to hold without thinking about it. The pick never turns in my hands while playing, even if i work up a bit of moisture on my fingers. The picking edge is beveled to allow a fast sweep over the strings. Each pick has a slightly different attack tone, based on the material chosen for the Dugain pick of your personal choice. I am using extremely light gauge strings and have not experienced any problems using a stiff pick. It gets down to finger pressure while holding any pick. Dugain stone picks last indefinitely if cared for. It becomes a matter of making sure it is not misplaced, rather then worn out. While these picks are not inexpensive, they offer the best quality for a pick of this type and will last way beyond what most other picks do. Once one gets used to playing with a Dugain pick, it becomes harder to get used to other picks, even of a similar nature. The hand work and quality of these French picks is that good.
