Please help me identify this guitar!

I'm looking to buy a gypsy jazz guitar, but since I reside in Norway, that has proven to be rather difficult (since there is little to no gypsy jazz culture here...).

Anyway, I found this guitar online (linked below), that a guy in Norway is selling, but he does not seem to know quite what brand the guitar is, and I don't either...

I therefore ask all of you who share my passion for gypsy jazz, and gypsy jazz guitars, to please help me identify the guitar shown in the link below.

I'm not able to make out the logo on the headstock...

Thanks!

Seems like it could be SH?
Of course there's Shelley Park but that doesn't look like P and it doesn't look like the font she's using either.
Looks like a quality instrument in any case.
Can you try it out? If it plays well then get it and worry about identifying the brand/maker later when you can get some good closeups of the label and headstock.

This website has a pretty exhaustive list of builders in this genre in case you want to do some detective work:

Just for the record, there is Hot Club de Norvège, as you probably know. Try https://www.gypsyguitar.de/ or TFOA.eu. It appears that they offer shipping in Europe. Guitar Village, near Paris, usually has some nice GJ guitars, but I'm not sure if they ship.

Can you post a close up of the label at the top of the headstock (where the tuners are)? Shelley's have an S and a P on them. Also, there is usually a makers label inside.

I have her 250th guitar and it is one of the best I've ever tried and played of any guitar of this type. Solid wood instead of laminate, and pliage (arching) longitudinally. It took 7 years for its tone to fully develop and I love it.

    Maybe Olivier Marin?

The headstock appears to be similar to the one here: http://www.guitare-village.com/occasion/_images/2014/20141222/marin4.jpg

Olivier builds fantastic guitars. Here's a video of Adrien Moignard going nuts on one:

  • I tried to brighten up the image but it's still not clear... Not sure it's Olivier Marin...

hmmmm, I think it's very close but no cigar.
On the mystery guitar logo the first letter seems curved to the right at the top and it looks to be two letters with the second letter having a line across the middle like in H.

Anyhow, the original poster doesn't seem to be too concerned about it any more...

Great to know about this luthier though, he has a guitar for sale now at a very reasonable price and the looks are stunning.

Thank you guys so much for all the super responses!

I have been trying to get in touch with the seller, but he has yet to send more pictures of the guitar.. he seems a bit shady as well.

But I'm figuring if this is a high quality guitar, it's a steal for me, as he is only asking for about 350 USD for it! :0

I will surely update this post as soon as i know more!
