BoyzIIMen, Rockabilly and The Idiomatiques

Well what do all of these things have in common?...
So I was lucky enough to produce four songs for BoyzIIMen this year. All songs are 50's, 60's remakes. I was also able to get "The Idiomatiques" in as the rhythm section (The Gypsy Jazz band I am in). Along the way I needed a rockabilly solo for "Why do Fools Fall in Love" and being I'm the producer I suggested to management we hire Brian Setzer if possible to play the solo for name recognition (also figured he'd do a great job). Brian was busy so I figured "I'll do it myself" but i'm not a rockabilly player. I am now however a Gypsy Jazz style player (I think I qualify after studying the style religiously for 4yrs) and thought those chops from Django might translate well into Rockabilly.
