    It's how I've felt too. And it's more or less the path I've chosen in my struggles to learn to play this music. But sometimes I wonder if it would have been a more efficient method to study a lot of licks and go on from there.

    Me too - instead of learning licks I been learning melody, some django solos and arps etc and hoping it will start to happen..............nowt doing yet though :)
