I've recentrly read of a new technique for playing better that consist in talking gently to the pick in order to get her to do the things that we want. My question is: will this technique work only with wegen 3,5mm picks or any other as well?

Try dipping the pick in absinthe. If that doesn't work, try dipping yourself in it. Surely, something will change at that point.

I've tried absinthe but didn't work. Someone who has travelled with Fapy Lafertin told me that he used to dip his thumb in 90 proof scotch just one hour before playing BUT holding the pick with the left hand. Any thoughts?
