Nice playing Harry! Are you playing the Marin? That violinist definitely has potential. The rhythm player sure swings. Is this a gig in Mexico City?

    Enrique,

    You sound great!

It has been far too long since we have last jammed...

    Cheers,

    Very nice, thanks for posting.

I liked your lick over the Cm section in the head!

jonpowl, Thank you! That's the Marin with a cheap Dimarzio pickup that I like very much.
The rhythm player is a student of mine who's doing really well! One of those guys who are really serious about it. He's always on time for gigs and lessons, willing to learn and help in every way he can...
I think the violin player will start blossoming more and more as we play together more often, he has the passion for the style and pretty good intonation and sound
The video is from our very first gig together in Mexico City last Wednesday, I enjoyed playing with these guys a lot!

    Bones,
    Thanks for watching!
I did that because it's way easier than what Django did... haha... I'm glad you liked it!

What model Dimarzio pickup is it ? I ask because I'm curious about what would fit a GJ guitar. Thanks

    crookedpinky,
    It's this one: http://www.dimarzio.com/pickups/acoustic/acoustic-model
I got it for around $50 bucks and I attach it half-on, half-off (floating) to the bass-end moustache with Schertler green putty. Works pretty good!
My rhythm player's using one as well in the clip I posted.
Better results for lead with a preamp, I have a Baggs Venue with a very handy footswitchable boost for solos
