Connecting low-z mic XLR to 1/4" Baggs D.I.

Guys, I have a gig coming up next week and I'm having a bit of trouble pairing my AT 831B with the Baggs Para D.I. It might be the hose - getting a better XLR Female-1/4" cable for the input on the Baggs (shame the Baggs doesn't have an XLR input), but I also wonder if there's an impedance mismatch going in? The AT has a low-Z output, though I don't know the exact figure. The Baggs has an input impedance of 10 megaohms.
Would a simple transformer, XLR-1/4, be a better option?
