I Can't Give You Anything But Love

one of my favorite tunes, lot of chord progressions that can be found in various other tunes (in different keys as well) so learn to transpose a few of them here and there...

remember... the harmonies do not necessarily reflect the ones implied by the soloist...

let's start with some licks i stole from jimmy rosenberg...

Funny you should post this..I was shedding this tune last night. My inspiration comes from Django's killer solo from a live recording in 1951. Check it out: I Can't Give You Anything but Love

Anyone feel like writing that one out?? ha ha

    Great job Dennis!

One of my all time favourite Django solos. Pure genius from start to finish.

Can't say I fancy writing it out though

Is the 51' recording the one with sax, piano etc and a clean sounding individual saying the title of the tune at the begining, 4.39 long? Or is that the 52' version and I don't have the 51'?

    The 51 has the MC....
