He has arthritis, which is probably why he's playing an amplified nylon string. Easier on the hands...

    He rarely plays outside of church, so there isn't much video. But I have seen some of him jamming with Dorado many years ago. Now I need to dig it out!

    yes....he wrote some of the waltzes that Stochelo and Jimmy recorded.

    Beautiful! this is the clip i learned "Latchpen" from.
    Great to see the admiring faces of Dorado and Tchavolo watching him play;i do get the sense that Wasso is slightly disapproving of Tchavolo's behaviour(offering Waso a cigarette etc)Always makes me laugh.
    Eddie's waltz rhythm playing is in its own way just as awesome as wassos lead.
    Tcha told me he's thinking of doing a cd of Waso's compositions and said if he did he would use that wonderful 'dry' sounding guitar of Wasso's.
