Help with doing tab

Hi, I want to post some tab but it looks crap when I post it. What's the secret to making it come out neatly? Do you type it into the message, or do it in Word first and paste it, or what? And what are the conventions of spacing, font size etc for maximum effect? And as a side-note, does anyone know what programs people use to create the images for posting chord diagrams and scales on their sites, like this one here: http://chopsfactory.com/chordweek.html

Thanks in advance,
Andy

I usually just use powertab. There is a function to save an image of the the current line of tab.

You can also export your tab files to plaintext, but you have to make sure to post them in a fixed-width font. The "CODE" tag in the forums should handle that.

You can also use powertab and print to PDF using something like PrimoPDF: http://www.primopdf.com/ then post the PDF file.

A lot of pdf creators do not support 64-bit OS. Month ago I have discovered Free PDF Converter in the net. It works perfectly on my 64-bit XP.
