Best Gypsy Guitar in My Price Range?

I've been playing guitar for many years....not a newbie, but I sure am not great!
Anyway, I never had a Gypsy guitar, and I'm looking to get into this genre.

I am looking for suggestions regarding the best Gypsy guitar I can get, with case, for between $700 to $900 or so.

What do you think?

Thanks. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    i would investigate harmsworth and willis: http://www.harmsworthandwillis.co.uk/xh ... lhole.html

alternatively, you could go for the customary saga gitanes or try a 2nd hand one from Michael.

    cheers,
    miguel.

Don't rule out used guitars. Many speak about a new guitar needing time to be played and "open up". With used you can get two pluses - possible upgrades from someone who took good care of it and a cheaper price than if would be new.
