Another triplet question

This is a follow up question from the Gonzalo triplet discussion.
I was wondering if you would follow the DUD picking on a chromatic run like on the Angelo Debarre version of Django's Waltz? IF so it would be as follows:
It seems slightly odd to use it going up the 1st string with one finger, although again the accents are nice and it helps my time a bit. Any advice?
