Del Vecchio Nylon String Resonator Guitar

I'm currently enamored with bossa nova and Brazilian jazz guitar and am interested in buying a nylon string guitar. Has anyone ever played a Del Vecchio nylon string resonator guitar? How about one of the Del Vecchio inspired copies by Paul McGill?

Some gents here were talking Del Vechhios a while back - concensus seemed to be that quality has fallen off in the last couple of decades for the originals - but the McGills were nice instruments - so - maybe a vintage original or a new hand-built...
