DC resistance of pickups

I am trying to assembly my own pickup for my selmer-style guitar and I want to make coil for my pickup. I don't know what DC resistance theese pickups usually have. Can somebody measure it and tell me? All you have to do is to put DC meter to audio cable plugged in to the pickup, with volume pot fully open. Result should be a few kOhm (kilo ohms).

I am interested mostly in Miller and Stimer pickups, but other pickups are also welcome.
Please write type and resistance of pickup.
Thanks for help in advance :D

The DC resistance of a pickup may not tell you all you need to know. It is dependent on the size of the wire, the tension used in winding as well as the number of turns of wire on the bobbin. You may want to google "pickup makers forum" and look there, and perhaps post your question there also.
