holding a pick

Hi!

I Have one more question. I've tried to hold pick exactly as described in the book but Í have found it easier to play if I place the pick so it rests at the first joint of the index finger (first from the tip of the finger). Fingers are then curled quite a lot - so that knucles of the first joint are gently brushin the strings when playing on lower strings. Am I doing somekind of mistake?

That sounds correct....that's not any different then in the book. Your fingers should be grazing the strings.

    Good Luck!
