    I'm playing the alt. chords for Minor Swing. Do you use 3 or 4 notes per chord or both.

    I'm not sure what you mean by the alt. chords...maybe the version with a progression like this?

    Either way, I generally try to use 5 or 6 note chords as much as possible...
