A Day of Gypsy Swing Music
19th May 2012, 10.30am to 10.30pm

Lollo Meir, Fapy Lafertin, Tcha Limberger, Samuel C. Lees,
Andy Cowdrey, Dave Kelbie, and Trez Fez
‘The most revered Gypsy guitarist since Django Reinhardt, onstage with the most lyrical guitarist of his generation and joined by the renowned Gypsy violinist Tcha Limberger.’
Join us for a day’s worth of gypsy swing music. In the morning, there will be a Masterclass with Samuel C. Lees, one of the most exciting guitar players on the Gypsy Swing music scene. This will be followed by a free acoustic jam, hosted by Trez Fez, who will bring the spirit of the legendary Beaufort Jazz club to Preston.
The highlight of the day will be an afternoon concert with the Fapy Lafertin, Lollo Meier and Tcha Limberger Quintet. The day will conclude with a Twilight Jam.
This is an event not to be missed by lovers and players of Gypsy Swing Music.
Tickets are £15 for the Masterclass and £15 for the Concert (plus booking and handling fees). Jams are free to all, and open to players of all ability.
